Hair Salon Invoice Template
Most salon guests pay at the front desk, so invoices tend to cover the bigger arrangements. Color corrections across several sessions, event styling and booth rent each fit here, with the stylist and hours named on each line. Clients and renters get a record that matches what was quoted.

What to include on a hair salon invoice
Stylist and service
Name the stylist and each service, such as color, cut or treatment. Salons with tiered pricing should show the level, like senior or master stylist.
Hours for long services
Color correction, extensions and other long services are often billed by the hour. Show the hours for each session so the total matches the consultation quote.
Treatments and retail
List add-on treatments separately, and keep any retail products on their own lines. Retail is often taxed differently from services.
Booth or chair rent
If you rent chairs to independent stylists, invoice the rent period, any product they buy from you and shared costs like laundry. Keep it separate from client billing.

Billing tips for salon owners and stylists.
Take deposits on long services
A deposit for color corrections, extensions and bridal bookings protects hours of chair time against a no-show.
Quote corrections after a consultation
Corrective color is hard to price over the phone. Book a consultation, give a range, then bill actual hours against it.
Invoice booth renters on a set day
Bill rent weekly or monthly on the same day, and keep a card on file. Renters can budget for it, and you avoid chasing several small payments.
