What to include on a lawn care invoice
Date of every cut
List each mow by date rather than a single monthly total. Rain-outs and skipped weeks happen, and the dates show what was actually done.
Lawn size
Note the square footage or lot size your price is based on. It explains the per-cut rate and makes treatment pricing easy to check.
Treatment round and product type
For fertilizer and weed control, name the round and the kind of product applied. Customers with kids or pets want to know what went down and when.
Seasonal extras
Aeration, overseeding, leaf cleanup and spring dethatching go below the regular cuts, so the weekly rate is never in doubt.

Notes. Keep the new seed lightly watered for the next few weeks, and we'll mow around the back lawn until it's established.
Terms. Payment is due within 15 days of the invoice date. Accounts more than 30 days past due may have service paused and a late fee of 1.5% per month applied.

Set a rain-out rule
Decide whether a missed cut is moved to another day or simply not billed. Put it in your service agreement so a wet month doesn't turn into a debate.
Price the first cut separately
A lawn that's gone weeks without mowing needs double passes and extra cleanup. Charge an overgrowth rate for the first visit, then move to your regular price.
Invoice the whole route on one day
