What to include on an HVAC invoice
Equipment details
Record the model, serial number and tonnage or BTU rating of equipment serviced or installed. It speeds up every future visit.
Refrigerant type and quantity
List the refrigerant used and the amount added. It documents the repair and explains a cost customers rarely see.
Diagnostic findings
A short line on what failed and why gives the customer confidence that the right part was replaced.
Warranty and plan terms
Note manufacturer and labor warranties, plus any service agreement the customer joined, with its renewal date.
