What the PDF invoice template includes

How to use it in PDF.

  1. Step 1: Open the free invoice generator

  2. Step 2: Fill in the fields

    Add your business, your client and each line of work. Totals, tax and the due date update as you type.

  3. Step 3: Choose a design and paper size

    Pick a design and accent color, add your logo, and set US Letter or A4 under Format.

  4. Step 4: Select Download PDF

    Your browser's print dialog opens with only the invoice on the page. Choose Save as PDF as the destination and save the file.

Notes. All three pianos are holding pitch well, and I'd suggest the next tuning in early spring.

Terms. Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date by check or bank transfer. Let us know if your office needs a W-9 or a purchase order number on the invoice.

Tips for people who send PDF invoices.

  • Treat the PDF as final

    If something changes, edit your draft and download a new PDF rather than editing the old file. Your client only ever sees clean copies.

  • Name files so they sort

    The generator suggests a file name from the invoice number and the client. Keep that pattern and a folder of PDF invoices stays in order.

  • Keep your own copies

    Drafts are saved in this browser on this device. Save every PDF to a folder you back up, so your records don't depend on one browser.

Yes. In Word or Excel, choose File > Save As and pick PDF. In Google Docs or Google Sheets, choose File > Download > PDF.
